Who Am I?

PROFESSIONALLY...

I'm a highly creative and technical product owner with extensive experience in program delivery and portfolio management. I've got a strong background in UI/UX design, graphics and web development but also spent many years as a Principal Engineer where I designed complex platforms, products and systems in the software technology space. I love flashy and exciting visuals but I'm equally as interested in understanding the underlying infrastructure and how it works. The combination of my skills lends me to the technical product manager role as I act as the liaison across sales & marketing and engineering type technical teams. I'm able to understand the business needs and convert them into technical discussions & requirements. This also includes being able to provide user friendly and executive style updates and feedback to the requesting business partners.

I thrive in positive fast-paced/high energy environments and love working with people as both a team player/co-worker and at the leader level. I love to learn and pick things up quickly especially since I dig in rather than wait for others to provide me with information. I'm able to manage complex programs and projects even when there's a lot of chaos. In fact, I've historically been transitioned to the more challenging cases since my leadership knows I'm willing to go the extra mile, think outside the box to work around blockers and keep pushing until I make it work.

PERSONALLY...

On my free time, I love watersports (kayaking/SUP/jet-skiing), playing golf, improving ulgy homes and always trying new things. I'm currently learning to speak spanish (Hola!) and play the guitar. I'm also passionate about animal welfare, supporting our US veterans and hanging out with my husband, Jim.
